- María Daniela & Su Sonido Lasser + Silverio at the long-gone Safari Sam’s in East Hollywood along with Mister Equis, Andre y los clasicos and DJ Santi. All for $20 bucks in September 2008. Yet MDYSSL ended up not playing the shou due to Dani falling ill on tour. ????
Also cancelled, shortly after was the venue. The life of Safari Sam’s as a music venue was rather brief, even for Hollywood standards. It opened to much fanfare in 2006 and it ended up closing a month after this show in October 2007 A&M and Pure Underground did several Rock Angelino and ska shows there and even Víctimas del Dr. Cerebro performed at S.S. Now before becoming a music venue the site of Safari Sam’s was a shady strip join. It is now a flashy Armenian banquet hall.
Anyways, this was also one of the last times that MDSSL would tour in LÁ. ¡Ya hace diez años!
