- One more metal flyer from Lynwood/Compton metal gigs that went down in the 1990s. This 1997 flyer was kindly shared by @eyeamstar. Check out that the flyer (for a show put on by Satanica Cult) it’s all hand-drawn and true cut and paste. According to her, these were shows where the po-po rarely raided since, well they were not much around in that side of the hood.
Most of the attendees were from Lynwood H.S. and althought it was a death/grind metal gig, there’s the invitation to all the other crews at the bottom. “Invitamos a todos los rockeros”, like the skaters (Trlley Tribe/TLBs), the rockeros from the pit, The Neverminders, 415 crowd, Solvent 66, Van Drunks, etc. Also there’s a demand to “Free Zonck, Let him go!” (?). So there’s plenty going on in this handout!
