- South Gate’s own guitar/synth-pop Silent Gray. Started as a band in the late 1990s, the foursome plied their trade by constantly performing in both the Hollywood and the Rock Angelino scenes.
By the mid 2000s (or so) the band morphed into Tender Box. As Tender Box, they released their debut album ‘The Score," that included the song “Mister Sister.” This track made them underground darlings as the song was played in Indie 103.1 FM and even championed by Rodney Bingenheimer on his KROQ show.
The Silent Gray/Tender Box members continue to perfom as part of other music projects.
