- CD Artwork for the very first La Resistencia E.P. This CD was released in May 2003 at the now mythical Allen Theater in South Gate, CA. The sold-out/at capacity release show also featured Las 15 Letras, Stalking Roxy, Roncovacoco, and Tokadiscos (Ensenada). Everyone who went to the show and paid her/his ticket got a CD. That meant at least 500 people left home with a CD in hand right after the show!
Now check out the artwork the iconic 1930s Union Pacific Rail Road Bridge that sits over the L.A. river section as it runs through South Gate.
Plus, the polaroid style photos of the band members was an ingenious way to account for the NINE La Res members. The 2003 La Resistencia were: Luis, voces; Sabino, sax; Félix, trompeta; Clemente, batería; Albert, bajo; Miguel, guitarra &Jorge, guitarra.¡Dos más y ya se hacia el equipo de fut! ????
Lastly, the CD case back cover “Hecho en Los Angeles” is pure ????. The Design was likely done by @clemente_310.
