- Check out this Knitting Factory ticket collection featuring a December 2012 Kinky show presented by KCRW.
Originally the Knitting Factory on Hollywood featured three different performance sites: Main Space (the big hall, it fit about 500+), The Alterknit Lounge (capacity 110 y quien sabe como. It felt smaller than that), and then the restaurant space became the second stage/lounge. Plus, at the beginning there was a recording studio on the premises. Pero...the venue never lived to the more experimental vibe that the owners originally sought. ????: @historyprofe thanks!
