- Here are the tickets for the "Heavyweights of Skacore" 2008 & 2009 Festivals at The now defuct Knitting Factory on Hollywood Bouelvard, shared by @soy_remedios_infalible and the flyer/poster for the second festival.
The tickets listed some true LÁ heavyweights: La Resistencia Viernes 13 Red Store Bums 8Kalacas Los Kung Fu Monkeys Raskahuele among many others.
This is what Miriam remembers of these epic skacore shows in the middle of Hollywood: "A little after the Allen Theater in South Gate closed...the knitting factory became the “far away” place for ska. The Knitting factory was an oven, but it was so much fun!" Now how all these members, equipment, AND the crowd could fit in such a small space that is beyond imagination!
