- Here’s a hand-out created for the Radio Chopo program in el DF, eerrr we mean now CDMX for Las 15 Letras first ever Mexico Tour in 1998. The leaflet for the radio program broadcasted on Orbita 105.7 FM gives a brief bio of the band as it asserts their Mexican roots. The tour organized by the band’s then manager @mariluz2012 was part of the first visits by LÁ bands to Mexico. These visits by Pastilla, María Fatal, Las 15 Letras and then Ozomatli, Rage Against the Machine, Aztlán Underground among others were not only musical exchanges between Mexico and Los Ángeles but also a way of sharing the effervescent and diverse cultural production of el Mexico de Afuera with Mexico’s audiences.
