The Regeneracion / Popular Resource Center (not to be confused with a BRC at El Pollo Loco digo…) was a Highland Park venue was created by a collective of Chicanas/os activists, among them Zack de la Rocha from Rage Against the Machine. During the 1990s, the PRC or “The Space” was a pivotal location that simultaneously served as an arts space, music venue, and political organizing forum where Rock Angelino, Chicano Groove, and socially conscious bands from a multitude of genres performed.
