- Check out these amazing photos capturing ¡Viva Malpache! Voz de Mano and Chencha Berrinches in action at the long-defunct Key Club. These images were taken with a disposable camera. Before the advent of digital cameras and smartphones, more venues prohibited cameras into shows, so one had no option but to try to smuggle an inexpensive disposable film camera, surreptitiously snap away and hope for a couple of good shots once you got the developed film at Thrifty’s or Kmart.
This tocada de chile, mole & pozole (genre-wise) produced by Marco Aldaco Montes/One America Prod. happened on a Wednesday in January 2002.
Thanks to @joshuasezrelax for these rare photos! The flyer is from @lili_in_the_pit collection.
