- These are some blurry photos that I took of some of the original La Resistencia members: Jorge(guitarist), Luis (singer), and Clemente (drummer) at The Allen Theater.
The Allen was the all-ages, self-supported venue in South Gate, California that produced a plethora of ska, punk, metal, hip-hop, indie, etc from 2002 until 2007. Since the Tokadiscos banner is up on the stage wall, I deduct that these photos could probably have been taken during the La Resistance EP CD Release on May 30, 2003.
FYI: I blame that the picts are blurry and out-focus to the deficient digital camera technology of the early aughts. Do you have some better photos/videos of The Allen? Please share them and tag! — @implacable
