- ¡Otra portada con Pastilla! La Banda Elástica Magazine. February 1995 issue featuring Juana La Loca, the band that would become Pastilla. This is one of the early issues of the magazine founded, produced, and printed in the suburbs of Los Angeles (first Rowland Heights then Long Beach) in 1992.
In time, La Banda Elástica broadened its focus from Los Angeles to include articles and reviews on bands and albums emerging out of a multitude of cities in Latin America.
By the second part of the 1990s, La Banda Elástica became one of the most renowned Rock en Español magazine of the 1990s, not only in the U.S. but in Latin America. By 1995, The U.S. based music magazine Spin named La Banda Elástica among one of the items in the “Future of Rock” music for the 21st Century. In this cover, we can see how the listing of topics covered by LBE connected the music and scenes of cities in the U.S. and Latin America to Los Ángeles.
