- Vicky Cabildo (La Chancla Voladora) was among some of the first college radio DJs who created a Rock Latino show. Here's a flyer for "El Rincón" on KSCU 103.3 FM (Santa Clara University). Now check out the amazing inclusion of Latin America's most erudite child feminist, Mafalda and Tijuana No! lyrics for Pobre de Ti (penned by Julieta Venegas) in the flyer. The show was broadcasted on "Dormingos" en las tardes. Después de la cruda del weekend, or so one can suppose. Vicky would go on to become an accomplished music executive with Aztlán Records, Universal Music, mun2 TV and currently she collaborates with @cosmicaartists among other ventures.
