- Here's another flyer of the 2000s posadas. This Posada Sur went down at the now long-gone Leonardo's on Pine Avenue in Long Beach. @boris_ponce9 (pre Galeria Alternativa and La tocada/Super Estrella fame) helped out get the venue and played with his former band Retrovizor, along with Las 15 Letras and Los Olvidados.
Boris was an ardent promoter of the South Bay/Long Beach scene and went on to produce a ton of shows in the LBC in later years. For this Posada, I have a rather hazy memory. These was a good size crowd, there was a mosh pit and we paid expenses. So, it was a solid show. —@implacable
