And Justice!” Chencha Berrinches is celebrating their 20 anniversary so here’s a flyer from one of their early participations in socially conscious events. This was a great memorable concert at the East Los Angeles College campus featuring Chencha Berrinches, Los Olvidados, Blues Experiment, Rice and Beans, plus P.U.Y.A. from Puerto Rico was added last minute and they rocked. The DJ was the ever-present Meno Man who continues to provide sound for a ton of events in L.Á. All the proceeds of this event went to the National Commission for the Democracy in Mexico, a civilian transnational organization that organized to give a platform to the political demands of the EZLN.
