- It's Friday and you know there is a solid gig happening somewhere in LÁ.
Here's a flyer for a One Shot Records roster show that took place in late 2000.
Check out this line-up Viernes 13, Schizm, Los Kung Fu Monkeys, Teenage Rage, Left Alone and Vomits. One Shot Records, the DIY South Gate based label released many of these bands first albums, an authentic feat for underground bands from South East L.A. and Tijuana. Most of these bands would become pivotal in the growth of the punk/ska S.E.L.A. scene for years to come.
Oh, and this show with all these bands happened inside a small two bedroom Lynwood house converted into a venue!
