Flyer for the very first Tour Tus Muertos "residential" Tour in Southern California, 1995. TTM were still not really known por estos lados. That explains why Marco Aldaco —the force behind the tour— chose to advertise them as "Mano Negra ex-members" which is technically true as Fidel was part of the very last Mano Negra Tour and line-up in their ambitious, but ill fated Colombian Tour.
Los Muertos stayed (and slayed) in LA for about a month and played everywhere! Bodegas in sketchy Downtown LA, salones de quinceañeras en Huntington Park, some gótico place in Santa Ana among others.
The most memorable part of these performances was the crowd reaction, who expected some white-looking boludos to come on stage and instead seeing two Afro-Argentinos possessed with a mesmerizing and hypnotic energy that won new bands at every show.
Thanks to @marcomontes6969 for getting these bands to LÁ in the 1990s.
