This is a photo from a La Resistencia gig put on by Clemente Ruiz at the original Our House site on Atlantic Boulevard in Lynwood. As you can see in this photo Our House was an actual house, turned into a (sort of) Youth Community Center. Most every single underground South East L.A. punk/ska/metal band active at the time played Our House.  Our House became such an important place for the SELA underground that one Tuesday in November 2001, Panteón Rococó took Luis Torres’ invitation and made the trek to play a surprise show at Our House in Lynwood in front of probably a hundred of shocked fans who could not quite believe El Panteón (@rococopix) was playing at Our House. Thanks so much to Clemente for sharing this rare photo. If y'all have photos/flyers/video/memories of Our House in Lywnood, please share! rockarchivoLA@gmail.com #laresistencia #ourhouse #ourhouseproductions #lynwood #southeastlosangeles #SELA #punk #ska #metal #2001 #rockarchivo
