Here’s another version of a Steady Beat & Ecléctica 2002 show at the now defuct B.B. King’s Club at CityWalk, which was a smaller version of House of Blues. This show that was also a “Cielo Music Group (CMG)” showcase featured Emaue, Desierto Negro (Palm Springs), Boris Ponce’s Retrovizor, Pastilla and Los Superlitio from Cali, Colombia. From what I recall, CMG was trying to sign Rock Latino bands that were to be produced by Tweedy González (who was a studi musician for Soda Stereo). In the end CMG only edited Super Litio’s “Tripping Tropicana.” I mostly remember that it was a packed, Super #Lit show. I mean the band that was most talked about was Super Litio. Yes that, oh and that Tweedy played the keyboard with them in a couple of shows. Oh also, the flyer features one of my favorite childhood manga characters. Do you know who it is? —@implacable #superlitio #tweedygonzalez #pastilla #my.pastilla #desiertonegro #retrovizor #emaue #bbkings #universalcitywalk #hollywood #implacable #steadybeatrecordings #2002 #rockarchivoLA
