- The 2000s or the aughts were a time of flux in terms of technology. In some ways it was the bridge between analog technologies and the hyper-digital, cloud era in which we live now. A time where we don't own or much desire to own physical copies of our music/films/TV shows/games. This is an Ecléctica sampler distributed at shows in 2003 as a way to showcase the music of the bands I worked with and whose CDs I distributed DIY style: Las 15 Letras, Almalafa, Tokadiscos & La Resistencia.
It was a CD-R, became I got a hold of a high volume CD burner, it was a fast way to make hundreds of copies. The sampler was called Skali, bcs well the bands were from different parts of Alta/Baja California. Want to hear these tracks uploaded somewhere (legal) of course?
