- While I have plugged it before, it is only fair to highlight the work that @santabarbarababylon by reposting one of their own flyers. Santa Barbara Babylon is doing some solid work historizing and sharing the many different Youth Cultures that have emerged and conversed in the 805 Santa Barbara/Ventura counties.
Plus they got a ton of flyer for punk/hardcore shows that happened at Casa de la Raza in SB.
Casa de la Raza is one of the oldest non-profit community centers in Santa Barbara, plus it Casa de la Raza long served as the punk DIY venue like this 1983 show with Black Flag, Minutemen (the punk, not the racist org), and Tragicomedy. Plus, Casa was the site for some early Rock en Español gigs in the 805 organized by @clubrockenespanol #themoreyouknowandshootingstar
