- Ever since the 1960s (yes, the 60s) Pomona has been the site for Youth music shows from rock and roll, doo-wop, punk, hip-hop, and currently indie with the solid @vivamusicfest shows and festivals. In the 1990s, Pomona logically became a destination for second or third SoCal dates fo touring Latin American rock bands. These shows normally included Rock Angelino bands as openers.
