- Have you checked out @clubrockenespanol feed lately? It is on ???? as the chicas are posting some photos of the VERY first ever rock en español concert in Los Angeles. They produced it (of course!) and it went down just south of downtown and it was a Valentine’s show in February 1989.
It was an amazing event that included music and art from then emerging Latina/o artists and some Chicano art veterans. This initial confluence of artists would come to define Los Ángeles as the art and music intersection of Latin/o/America for decades to come.
