This flyer is from the ONE time that Las Ultrasónicas blessed/cursed us all with their presence in LÁ at the (in)famous Terraza Jamay in 2004. Plus, check out all the opening bands! Matamoska, La Chelsea (Mexicali), Dr. Jack, Cerebro Negro, Los Skabrones and Drunk Skunks. All of this for only $15 (bueno $17 after 8pm). Las ultrasónicas were the legendary all-female punk combo that went from raunchy to feminist, to anti-establishment all in the same album. The best Las Ultrasónicas anecdote has to be them being comissioned to write the Vive Latino anthem, which they did....and called it "vive cochino" to denounced the monopolistic and unfair practices of the Vive Latino organizers. Check out the track on YouTube. Needless to say, they were not invited back to El Vive. ???? #punkAF This gig was produced by Eley Rock & Cia. Sergio “Lavis” Peralta actually has a huge collection of Rock Angelino/Latinoamericano ephemera. Check him out en el fais! ????: from @lili_in_the_pit collection thanks! This is the anniversary week giveaway with the Pastilla vinyl, Las 15 Letras and Left Alone CDs. All you have to do is post a one photo/video of a flyer or of a show you attended (has to be at least 10 years old). tag @rockarchivoLA or use the hashtag #rockarchivoLA and state which album/CD you’d pick if you are the winner! Good Luck!
