- This is the legendary Ozomatli Sticker Slap. To promote their debut album, the LÁ band distributed these slaps in their shows and at record stores.
There were soon thousands of stickers plastered/glued/posted that appeared everywhere in the streets of Los Angeles in 1997/1998, making the Ozo logo an ubiquitous presence in the urban and sonic space of SoCal.
BTW, Almo Sounds was co-founded by Herb Alpert (of Tijuana Brass fame) and also included Garbage in its roosters. Too bad the label had such a short-stint.
