I would like to also highlight the work of other grassroots and dedicated digital archivists that are creating participatory, inclusive, and community based online archives to not only recover past happenings, but to understand the importance and the magnitude of different regional scenes. For instance, @nosnappers.sgv is a IG account that prolifically shared videos, music, flyers, and photos from the SanGra, San Gabriel Valley punk scene. One will find some amazing material from the 1980s to the 2000s. This flyer featured Noize Pollute, Rompe Cabezas, Café Con Tequila, The Recoils, and Oi Kunts is an on-point example. The skulls wearing a mohank is a designed created by Síndrome Del Punk, a.k.a.Síndrome Amaya LTD. El abuelo/padrino del punk mexicano. Thus, this flyer and the bands highlight the decades long and enduring connections between the punk scenes in Latin American with the punk scenes of Southern California. So definitely check out @nosnappers.sgv and learn some more about the 626 punk!
