Miembros del CREE $5 bolas “los demas” 8 bolas. ????
This Rock en Español nights featuring DJ Yvonne ????????????????????????? likely happened in 1992 or so. Based on my L.A. Times archive research this particularly Club Selections in Panorama City was definitely not too selective in its location or clientele. A couple of years later the DJ at this not-so-fine joint was actually killed after hours in an altercation with a Club goer ????. Just to be clear this had nothing to do with the Rock en Español nights, but it is definitely good context/chisme about the reputation of the club.
The building where the club resided was demolished in the early 2000s to give way to the construction of Panorama High School that opened in 2006. See how it all connects? ????
Anyhow, these were among the many nights, events, and concerts that the chicas of Club Rock en Español would go on to produce in the 1990s.
