- Here’s another Colby Poster and this is for the Héroes del Silencio very first ever show in Los Angeles at the Pantages in Hollywood in March 1996. The fancy AF venue that is now exclusively for theater plays and musicals. Yet it looks like in the 1990s it also hosted music concerts. Even so it seems like all of the attendees to this HdS had to experience the concert sitting down! ????
The poster was created by Colby Poster Printing Company, a company that starting in the 1940s began to create the distinct music poster LÁ aesthetic, look, style with the artists’ names printed on a heavy hit of fat ink, all while DGAF about any of the rules of typography.
