- From the Wassup Rockers Section: Soda Stereo's Charly Alberti wearing the iconic Club Rock en Español's Manolito Shirt.
This photo was taken during the band's first visit to Los Ángeles in December 1989 and Charly wore the shirt as a way of promoting the CREE whose advocacy efforts were key in having Soda perform in Hollywood for the first time, and also to have two sold out shows at The Palace during their ever time LÁ visit.
Post-Soda Charly has been involved in plethora of projects. But did you know that since 2017 Charly has been appointed as an Embajador de Buena Voluntad by the United Nations for his work on raising Climate Change awareness? Pues eso. ????????????????????????
