Listen in to learn more about the beginnings of Club Rock en Español. It all started with two Mexican-American teenage girls whose love for Rock made in Latin America and Las Espanyas compelled them to create a fan club.
This club would be the ignitor for Rock en Español's widespread popularity in not only LA, but in the US!

PODCAST UP NOW!! ????Repost from @razorcakegorsky & @msdrazzy - Thirty years ago, on October 21st, 1988, my sister from another mister Flora and I started an organization called Club Rock En Español. It was meant to be a fan club to trade records and meet other fans and it turned into a life-changing adventure that kick started a musical scene in Los Angeles. As guests on this edition of my podcast are the aforementioned Flora who started this whole thing by my side; Alma Diaz, who we met co-promoting a show a few years into CREE and became our sidekick even to this day; and finally Roberto Corrales who was CREE member #2, the guitar player for many a local band, our official location scout for shows and one of our very best friends.
