- “¡Que onda Amigos rockeros!...Ultimamente han aparecido numerosos grupos de rock en español aquí en Los Angeles creando un gran impacto en la juventud.” This was the inaugural column penned by FloraRae Tapia & Yvonne Gómez, the co-founders of Club Rock en Español (CREE) and published in Mundo Artístico in June 7, 1990. Btw, the Voz D’ Mano’s photo is featured in the piece as well. This of course was due to VdM being the “house band” for the first CREE gigs.
