Check this out! After the last Cerati/Ocio post, @r41nt35 sent these photos from Cerati’s concert debuting Bocanada at the House of Blues in 2000. Before cameras attached to our fingers via cellphones, documenting music shows required some work and plenty of ingenuity as cameras were mostly forbidden at music venues. This might be seen as strange, since we know record EVERYTHING and share it live to the world on social media. But from the 1960s to until well the 2000s, venues and record labels were too worried about music and visual piracy. The one camera that one could bring or smuggle into a concert were single-use, funsaver cameras, that were rather limited in terms of focus or zooming. Yet as we can see in these picts, managed to capture some solid shots. Thanks for sharing! P.S. According to Setlist.Fm, this was likely the set list for this concert: Río Babel—Beautiful—Raíz—Tabú—Engaña—Perdonar es divino—Bocanada—Puente—Av. Alcorta—Aquí y ahora (los primeros tres minutos)—Zona de promesas (Soda Stereo song)—Sweet sahumerio(Soda Stereo song)—Hoy ya no soy yo(Cerati / Melero cover)—El rito(Soda Stereo song)—Hombre al agua(Soda Stereo song)—Tu medicina (Cerati / Melero cover)—Verbo carne—Y si el humo está en foco...—Pulsar—Paseo inmoral—Encore:Cabeza de Medusa —Vuelta por el universe (Cerati / Melero cover) #gustavocerati #cerati #bocanada #rocklatino #rockenespañol #rockargentino #westhollywood #houseofblues #losangeles #2000 #rockarchivoLA
